A pair of antique Chinese enameled bowls. The bowls are adorned with flowers medallions pattern made in Shotai Shippo o Plique A Jour technique. Shotai Shippo as a type of cloisonne in which vitreous transparent enamels are fired, then acid is used to etch away the exterior body of the vessel resulting in the transparent stained glass appearance of this bowl.
