On the back there are stamps of the Art Union of the USSR and a stamp of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR with an export permit. Georgiy Grigorievich Nissky, 1903 to 1987, was a prominent Soviet painter and a founder of the severe style, the master of the industrial landscape. He was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1965 and won a third degree Stalin Prize in 1951.
