A group of four etchings on papers and one color lithograph on paper. Alec Cowan, American, 1912 to 1985, four color etchings with aquatint on paper; three etchings, Laguna Channel, signed in pencil lower right, numbered 63, 70, 78 out of 100 in pencil lower to the center, titled in pencil lower left; one color etching, South Harbor, signed in pencil lower right, numbered 35 out of 75 in pencil lower to the center, titled in pencil lower left. A color lithograph on paper depicting a composition with various portraits in Modern style by Isa Markowit or Markowix, signed in pencil lower right, numbered 70 out of 150 in pencil lower left. Alec Cowan was born in 1912 in England. He settled in Laguna Beach, California, and produced decades of work in etching or block print. He was included in exhibitions in Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Denver Museum, Boston Museum of Art, Pasadena Art Museum, Kennedy Galleries in NY and Weyhe Gallery in NY.
