A vintage French intaglio print done by Fernand Mourlot after the original print from circa 1800 titled La Terre. This print was hand colored at Establishment Beaufume and published in 1944 as part of a set Mourlot arranged for issuing in Paris. Fernand Mourlot, French, 1895 to 1988, was the director of Mourlot Studios and founder of Editions Mourlot. Mourlot Studios became the largest printer of artistic posters and was often hired by French and foreign museums, such as the Tate Gallery, to produce high quality posters for their upcoming exhibitions.
