An antique French Empire style bronze and Sienna marble figural mantel clock. A cream tone dial with black Arabic numerals and black hands. Marked, Patent Cox New York, on the dial. The case was applied with cast scrolls and foliage, surmounted by a figure of Urania with books and a marble globe, in Greek mythology, the muse of astronomy, and in later times, of Christian poetry.
