An antique late 19th or early 20th century Ernest Rancoulet bronze figural group titled: a Trouville, depicts two young women wearing one-piece bathing suits and merrily playing leapfrog. The moment is depicted when one of the women jumps over the back of the other. Beautifully designed and finely detailed, covered with a nice warm brown patina. The group is raised on a base modeled as a sandy surface signed: Rancoulet and titled on the front edge of the pedestal.
