Gaullist symbols, the Marseillaise sculpture by Rude and the Cross of Lorraine, are put on a red background with incription Rassemblement Pour La Republique Avec Jacques Chirac Votez RPR, Gather For the Republic With Jacques Chirac Vote RPR. In 1976 Jacques Chirac founded the right-wing RPR party that sympathized with the ideas of Charles de Gaulle. This political poster expresses hatred of the previous Giscardian regime. Second. A poster published by Paris Match, a French weekly news magazine. An advertisment depicting body organs performing gymnastic exercises. Titled La Gymnastique des Organes Enseignée Exclusivement aux Ecoles de Culture Physique du Professeur Desbonnet, Organ Gymnastics Taught Exclusively at Professor Desbonnet's Physical Culture Schools. Edmond Desbonnet, 1868-1953, opened the first of his many schools of physical culture in Lille in 1895. An exhibition of photographs of his schools was shown in Paris in 1992.
