Daniel Inukpuk, 1942 to 2015, was a prominent Inuit carver and printmaker who lived in Inukjuak. Examples of his work can be found in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. A very rare stonecut print depicting a methamorphical creature inspired by traditional myths. Title in Inuktitut underneath. Signed in the lower left. Dated 1976 in the lower right.
