An antique hand colored etching portrait of Frederick Augustus I and III, Elector and King of Saxony and Grand Duke of Warsaw after Baron Francois Gerard, Neoclassical painter best known for his portraits of celebrated European personalities, particularly the leading figures of the French First Empire and Restoration periods. Signed on board Raphael Jacquemin lower right. Issued for Iconographie General et Methodique du Costume du IV au XIX siecle. Published in Paris, 1869. Antique Military Print Collectibles.
