Provenance: The painting comes from the collection of Viktor Kholodkov, 1948 to 2015, who fulfilled his passion for books, avant grade design and paper memorabilia by devoting his life to collecting and dealing of prominent works of Russian graphic art of the first half of the 20th century. Olga Deineko was a well known Ukrainian and Russian Soviet avant garde painter and graphic artist, poster and book designer. Olga Deineko was born in Ukraine and studied at VKhUTEMAS under Ilya Mashkov. She worked as a graphic artist and designer, and was a member of Society of Revolutionary Poster Designers. The wife of Nikolai Troshin, she was also well known as children's book illustrator in the late 1920s and early 1930s. One of a kind artwork.
