Iosiff Chaikov was a well known Russian Soviet Social Realist sculptor and pedagogue of Jewish origin. Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, professor. Chaikovs monumental and decorative works are marked by compositional dynamics. The most famous is his composition Footballers. In 1912, Chaikov, together with a group of young artists, founded the Mahmadim group of Jewish artists; the group published a magazine in Hebrew under the same name. One of a kind artwork.
