A fine antique hand colored etching dated circa 1930, by Bela Sziklay, Hungarian, 20th century. The etching depicts a view of Piazza della Signoria with the Abduction of a Sabine Woman statue in the foreground, Florence, Italy. Signed in print lower left. Matted and framed. Bela Sziklay is most known for his etching scenes of landmarks in Venice, Florence, Rome and elsewhere. The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco includes several Bela Sziklay etching in its permanent collection. Collectible Graphic Artworks, Prints and Multiples.
