A German Meissen Bottger Steinzeug hand carved stoneware figurine. The figurine is made in the shape of a long haired Dachshund dog. Circa: early 20th century. Marked with hallmarks and numbered 240 on the bottom. Meissen, Meissen porcelain, Meissener Porzellan, products of the first manufactory in Europe, which for a long time was the leading enterprise in which real hard porcelain was made.
