Attributed to Joseph Jansen, German, 1829 to 1905, oil painting on canvas depicting a pastoral landscape. Signed lower right. Framed. Provenance: Avra Art Auctions, Margate City, NJ, United States, May 16, 2020, lot 30. Joseph Jansen spent most of his early years as a student at the Academy of Dusseldorf. Jansen is known for his extensive landscapes depicting views of the Alps and of the scenery and towns along the Rhine and the Moselle. One of a kind artwork.
