An oil on paper painting depicting a Tallinn Cathedral Domsky Sobor, 1959, by Igor Obrosov, Russian, Soviet, 1930 - 2010. Signed, titled in Russian and dated on the reverse. Framed. Igor Obrosov was a Russian and Soviet painter, muralist, graphic artist. A bright representative of the Severe style. Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR in 1989 for the triptych Dedication to the Father. Winner of the International Biennale of Graphics in Norway for a series of graphic works and the International Prize in Kosice, Czechoslovakia for a series of picturesque landscapes. The artist's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in the Russian Academy of Arts, and many private collections all over the world.
