Johannes van den Driesche or Drusius, 1550 to 1616 was a Flemish Protestant divine, distinguished specially as an Orientalist, Christian Hebraist and exegete. Bernard Fullenius Bernard Fullenius, c. 1565 to c. 1636, was a theologian who was born about 1565 in Westphalia in the Holy Roman Empire. Fullenius studied at the Calvinist college in Herborn and the academy in Wittenberg. He became a doctor of theology. In 1593 he became a permanent minister in Leeuwarden. Friesland appealed to his knowledge of oriental languages and he was appointed revisor for the translation of the New Testament and later also replacing the deceased Sibrandus Lubbertus for the Old Testament.
