A pair of photographs depicting a Native American on a horse and animals produced from a Charles J. Belden negative. Numbered 6 and 8 on the back. Printed by The Great Western Exhibition, Jackson, Wyoming. Marked, inscribed in the print, and numbered on the back. Marked with an original paper label, The Great Western Exhibition Photographs of The Old West Michael Healy, on the back. Charles Josiah Belden, 1887 to 1966, was an American photographer and rancher who was famous for his visceral photographs of the area around Meeteetse, Wyoming in the early 1900s. Belden's photographs appeared in such publications as National Geographic, The New York Tribune, and The Denver Post. Antique and Vintage USA American, Native Americans, Western Photos and Collectibles.
