A Mid Century hand-carved and hand-painted wooden mouse figurine. Signed Louis Paul Jonas Studios and dated December 1976 on the bottom. Louis Paul Jonas, 1894-1971, was an American sculptor of wildlife, taxidermist, and natural history exhibit designer. He opened his Studio in Mahopac, NY in the 1940s. It still manufactures miniature and full size animal sculptures for sale and for museums. Vintage Americana Animalistic Decor Items.
