A charcoal on paper double sided drawing by Grigory Gluckmann, Russian, American, 1898 to 1973. Depicts a female seated nude on the obverse, and a standing male nude on the reverse. Signed lower right: Gluckmann. One of a kind artwork. Grigory Efimovich Glyukmann was a Russian and American graphic artist and painter. In 1917 he entered the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, but after three years he left his studies and emigrated to Berlin. In 1922 he joined the literary and artistic community Spindle. Since 1924 he settled in Paris, where in October his first solo exhibition took place at the Drouot Gallery. Gluckman actively exhibited at the Tuileries Salon, Salon d'Automne, Salon des Indépendants, and at exhibitions of the National Society of Fine Arts. From 1924 to 1939 held more than ten solo exhibitions in Paris, London and New York. Participated in exhibitions of Russian art in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris. Collectible Russian Fine Art.
