A pair of French hand-painted porcelain decanters in Oriental style by Jacob Mardochee Petit. Beautifully painted Ottoman figures. On the pedestals, there is a gilded inscription (partially lost) but the word "Paris" is clearly visible. Jacob Mardochee Petit (1796-1868) started a porcelain factory in Bellville, France, in 1830.
