A tall cameo glass vase executed by Emile Galle, 1846-1904, a French designer who is considered to be one of the major innovators in the French Art Nouveau movement. Cameo glass is a complex decoration technique where the cased glass of two or more colors is carved with a diamond saw or etched with acid so that the colors of the layer underneath are visible. The presented vase is soft yellow with an exquisite brown lotus flower design. The signature of the designer is on the side. Collectible Art Nouveau Glass Vase.
