Shaman medicine container in the shape of a tropical fish made with horn, bone and wood. Vintage 1940s or 1950s lime containers from the Atoni People Amanatun District in the Highlands of West Timor with a carved etched motif "kaif", symbol of kinship and power. The decoration goes all around into the surface and the bottle is sealed. The artifacts have a mature patina and is in vintage condition. The patina is deep and rich original sign of antiquity. The Highland Atoni People have always been enthusiastic practitioners of the betel nut ceremony which has both formal and informal formats. Ethnic Home Decor, Boho Ethnic Collectibles.
