An extraordinary and engaging 19th century artifact of Coco De Mer also knows as sea coconut. Antique 1800s kashkul, a beggar’s bowl. The coco de mer is the largest of its kind in the world and a rarity confined to the island of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. This admirable piece of art history was used as part of Hindu Priest Accessories in the 1800s and survived in remarkable good condition.
