A vintage Russian Posad matryoshka nesting dolls. Thirteen pieces. Dolls are made mainly from soft linden, less often from alder or birch. The wood is turned and sanded, and then dried. The dolls are hand painted by the artist, N. G. Chudyagina. Signed and marked in the Cyrillic on the bottom.
