Meyer Frank Lieberman, American 1923 to 2013. Pen and color pencil painting on paper depicting a Jewish scene, David Playing Harp, 1996. Signed and dated lower right. Titled lower to the center. Inscribed lower left. Framed. Meyer Frank Lieberman was born in 1923, and was a student of Reginald Marsh at the Art Students League and Andrew Stasik at the Pratt Graphics Center. Lieberman had his first one man show in 1955 at the Jewish Museum in New York City and went on to exhibit in galleries in the United States as well as abroad. From 1964 to 1968 he was an instructor in drawing, painting and composition at the Art Life Craft Studio in Manhattan. He continued to teach after moving to Woodstock in 1978. One of a kind artwork.
