A Russian gilt silver Easter egg pendant decorated with translucent cobalt blue enamel on guilloche ground and applied with the Russian Imperial Warrant. Inside is hollow, it consists of two fastened halves. Hallmarked twice inside and to the suspension loop with the 88 silver proof and makers marks in Cyrillic lettering. The pendants of this kind were historically worn as decorative charms with the fashion to string many together into one chain. Weight 14.5 grams.
