A pair of Royal Copenhagen Blanc de Chine vases, designed in 1958 by Arno Malinowski, 1899-1976, Danish silver designer and sculptor who also worked for the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory and the Georg Jensen Company. Blanc de Chine is a ceramics technique of Dehua porcelain, a special characteristic of which is a warm white or pale ivory color. The Royal Copenhagen Manufacture had a continuing Blanc de Chine collection centered around the aesthetics of traditional Chinese porcelain. The lot is a set of two identical 8" tall vases of a simple and delicate design. Round body decorated with leaves, long narrow neck with a flat edge. Marked, with individual numbers.
