This is an early 20th century Gritzner sewing machine with a treadle table. Contains the original metal key and some parts in a drawer. The Gritzner Machine Co. Ltd was one of the giants of German sewing machine manufacture. The firm was established by Maximilian Gritzner at Karlsruhe, Durlach in 1872 with the first machines being modelled on the Singer 12.
