A vintage artistic copper clad pottery vase by Charles Walter Clewell (American, 1876-1965). The vase with a wide neck is adorned with a patina and verdigris that Clewell perfected. Circa: second quarter of the 20th century. Signed and numbered 334 26 on the bottom. Charles Walter Clewell was born in Ohio in 1876, Charles Clewell spent most of his life in Canton where he developed a process for producing pottery that has a unique metal like patina.
