A large Japanese Satsuma style pottery vase dated from the late Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. The vase is decorated with gilding, hand painted polychrome traditional patterns, and two panels, one depicting a group of four deities with a child, and the other with images of birds flying among blooming flowers.
