An antique Russian Orthodox icon called Tselitelnitsa. The icon belongs to the so-called healers, the images depicting saints that help in various needs. The icon is unusual as directly under each holy image it is signed in what cases it is prayed for. Such icons were often common in the Old Believer community. Materials: wood, tempera, gold leaf. Circa the 19th century.
