Made to commemorate the International Exhibition of 1862 (also known as the Great London Exposition, a world's fair on the site that now houses the Natural History and Science Museums in South Kensington). Finely decorated with intertwining scrolls and panels with figures representing Art, Music, Science and Commerce on a light blue ground. Marked with a manufacturer impressed stamp Staffordshire knot with W B, ribbon with International and date on the bottom. Antique European table ware and collectibles.
