A lot of various vintage collectible vanity items. Includes a famous half full Shocking perfume by Elsa Schiaparelli; six glass ampoules with cosmetics, Re-Vita, Eckstein Tonic R, etc.; a vintage 1940's Danish silver plated mirror and comb set, possibly made by Hans Jensen, marked: Made in Denmark; Annalise Groteguth business card inscribed in German; two miniature Chinese porcelain containers; a beautiful antique Daum Nancy perfume bottle, painted with flowers and accented with gold, signed Daum Nancy with a cross on the bottom. The present lot is on auction from part of Kuranda's family estate. The provenance of these items can be traced back to Felix Kuranda in the XIX Century Austrian Empire, a member of a well known family of bankers and politicians; directly related to the Karpeles, Wittelshofer, Milne And Lederer families. The most chronological recent lots are former belongings from USA veteran Major Thom Stellinger-Scott related through marriage with the Kuranda lineage. He was a veteran of the Korean War as well as a reputed amateur photographer and artist. The Stellinger-Scott family resided for decades at Montauk, Long Island, NY.
