Lot 0410: VARIOUS VINTAGE EUROPEAN MEDALS AND INSIGNIAS

A lot of various vintage medals. A Prince Regent Luitpold ovular medal constructed of bronze. The obverse bears the bust of Prince Regent Luitpold, the reverse bears a crowned shield of Bavaria with the inscription In Tree fest 1905. The medal is topped with an ornate arabesque detail and an oak leaf loop suspension. A Soviet military medal For Battle Merit awarded for combat action resulting in a military success. A Prussian Campaign medal for combatants founded by King Wilhelm I as a commemorative award for service rendered during the 1870-1871 Prussian Military campaigns. The medals awarded to combatants were composed of two materials, bronze smelted from captured French cannons and regular bronze. A First War Bulgarian Commemorative medal 1915-1918 manufactured by firms in Germany and Switzerland. There are a few rare examples of the medals produced by Berge Kerestedzhiev in Sofia. Also includes more insignias items.
