An antique German Meissen glazed porcelain tea or coffee set of a cup and a saucer. The four lobed bell shaped cup on a constricted round base. The cup is adorned with a curved handle. The cup and the saucer are adorned with alternating reserves with polychrome floral patterns and oval turquoise medallions between gold decorated rocaille reliefs. The walls of the cup and the rim of the saucer are richly reliefed and gilded. A wide gold rim at the mouth edge of the inner wall of the cup. Circa: 1860s.
