Order of the Polar Star type 3, 1940-1941. The Order of the Polar Star is an award of the Mongolian Republic, established in 1936 and manufactured in a Mint. The Order of the Polar Star of the Mongolian People's Republic is awarded to soldiers, officers, workers, employees, and other citizens who have achieved remarkable success in strengthening the military power of the MPR, developing the national economy, culture, and health care. Order of the Polar Star made of silver in the shape of a gilded six-pointed star with rays of different lengths. In the center is a round blue enameled shield. A convex white enameled element of the Mongolian ornament "ulziy khee" - meaning happiness and goodness - is superimposed on the shield. On top of it is the coat of arms of the Mongolian People's Republic of 1941, covered with red, blue, and yellow enamel. In the center of the six-pointed star, there is a bolt and nut for attaching the order to clothing, in the lower part of the main of the three elements the number 6838 is carved.
