A lot of four original issues of Russian satirical magazine, Baraban, with caricature illustrations on the covers. the lot includes numbers 7, 9, 11, 12. Baraban is a satirical magazine published in Petrograd from April 1917 to the spring of 1918. The journal was of a left liberal orientation, close to the cadets; the activities of A.F. Kerensky were also positively assessed. The chief editor of the journal was M.S. Linsky, but basically it was published by its chief author and editor of the magazine New Satyricon A.T. Averchenko. The editor of the magazine Mikhail Linsky (Russian Soviet, French, 1878-1941) also was a journalist and illustrator. Russian satirical magazines, books, newspapers and collectibles.
