A Russian barometer and thermometer formed as a rectangular gilt-silver panel decorated with foliate designs. The circular barometer is set to the center on a white enameled face, with the laurel diamond branches on either side. Protruding from the top of the barometer dial is the thermometer, which is framed within empire style garlands and surmounted by a garnet crown. Features easel support.
