A pair of vintage color lithograph prints with Parisian scenes, after paintings by French artist Marius Girard. One is titled Paris. La Tour Eiffel au Pont Alexandre III. The other is titled Paris L'Opera - Le cafe de la Paix. Both signed. Framed. Circa 1950s. Marius Girard was a prominent painter in the 1950s-1960s. He became wealthy by creating French postcards and selling them to printing houses to be lithographed and printed in blocks of 100,000. Most of his work was done in watercolor in Montmartre, Paris, at one point he was commissioned to paint paintings for the lobby of the Hotel Hilton in Paris.
