A vintage North American Bear Company VIB (Very Important Bear), Lauren Bear call, a red plush fluffy bear with black plastic eyes and nose, well dressed in original sweater and shorts. An original tag with copyright 1979. The North American Bear Company was established in 1978 by Barbara Isenberg and her brother, Paul Levy. During the 1970s, Isenberg became interested in toy design and wanted to create plush toys which appealed to both children and adults. Vintage collectible stuffed bear toy.
