A collection of antique American Civil War illustrations. Two engravings of Federal Troops Landing on the Kentucky Shore, Opposite Cairo, for the Purpose of Building Fort Holt and the Embarking Troops and General Buell's Artillery at Bird's Point, MO, April 18th, 1861. Both are from Famous Leaders and Battle Scenes of the Civil War, published in 1864. A lithograph Surrender of General Lee, At Appomattox C.H.VA April 9th 1865 by Currier and Ives (American, 1834-1907). An engraving titled Battle of Mill Spring on the Cumberland River, Jamestown, Virginia, January 19, 1862. From an issue of Frank Leslies Illustrated Almanac.
