Antique Japanese woodblock print on paper, Itsutomi, after Chobunsai Eishi (Japanese, 1756-1827) original watercolor painting, from the Seiro Geisha Erami series. Signed and stamped in the print to the center left. Inscribed in the print upper right. Chobunsai Eishi, a master of ukiyo-e, founder of the Hosoda school, specializing in the genre of Bijinga, developed the decorative direction in engraving. The works of this school are distinguished by a variety of subjects and motives and exquisite design. Asian graphic art prints and collectibles.
