A lot of four collectible Sweden WA Eurenius & PL Quist hand painted cartes de visite perhaps the most ubiquitous form of nineteenth century photography. The 4 cabinet photo cards depicting male and female figures of locals in traditional picturesque costumes. From the late 1850s through the latter half of the century, these economical keepsakes circulated en masse and spurred a veritable “cartomania”. All photos are titled in the print lower to the center and signed in the print, C. A. Soderman, lower left (besides one) All cards are stamped on the back. Circa 1860s to 1870s.
