Keisai Eisen (Japanese, 1790-1848) kakemono-e woodblock print on paper, Bijinga, Woman Lighting a Lantern. Signed and inscribed with Hieroglyphs lower left and to the center. Framed. Keisai Eisen is a Japanese ukiyo-e artist who specialized in paintings such as bijinga. His best works include portraits such as okubi-e, which are considered examples of the Bunsei era, the decline of the ukiyo-e genre. Asian graphic art prints and collectibles.
