Vladimir Mikhailovich Ryklin (Russian, American, born 1934) ink painting on paper, illustration for Iskra magazine, depicting a rural scene with a horse and peasants, 1973. Signed and dated to the center left. Inscribed in the Cyrillic, Iskra, upper left. Iskra is a weekly Russian illustrated literary and artistic satirical magazine with a democratic orientation. Published in St. Petersburg from 1859 to 1873. Vladimir Ryklin is a Soviet and American graphic artist, poster artist, one of the brightest representatives of fantastic realism. One of a kind artwork.
