A vintage Remington Rand Streamliner typewriter in a gloss black with the original carrying case. Remington Rand debuted the Streamliner in February of 1941. Early models feature the Streamliner logo with stylized "gust of wind" lines. By summer the "gust of wind" was gone leaving just the name. By December 1941 America was at war and Remington Rand (like many companies) focused production to the war effort. It returned in the 1950s but as a plastic typewriter.
