A pair of Russian Soviet traditional lacquered and covered oval boxes with hand-painted fairytale scenes on the top of the lid and red interior. One painting is signed by the artist with initials, A. M., lower right; marked, Fedoskino, lower left. The second painting is signed, marked and numbered lower to the center. Both items are marked, Made in USSR, and numbered on the bottom. Circa; 1990s.
