The late 20th-century Navajo collection artistic pottery vase by Norman Lansing (20th/21st century, Ute). The exterior of the vase is adorned with a traditional geometric and floral pattern. Signed, marked, and numbered 10 of 91 on the back. Norman Lansing is a member of the Ute Mountain Ute tribe. He works in mixed media. Ceramics is his specialty. Norman etches finely detailed designs and images of the natural and spiritual energies in his world. He mixes his own glazes to create the effect he wants depending on the story he's telling.
