A vintage natural clay rice or food steamer pot, also called the Yunnan pot. It utilizes an ancient cooking method of steam funneling up through the internal cone, which then steams or cooks rice or other food. Decorated with a gilded image of a bird flying over the blooming sakura branch on the lid and carved hieroglyphs around the pot.
