A rare first edition of the Russian Soviet satirical poster Double in the eyes, designed by Matvey Mazrukho, member of the Fighting Pencil - a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters in the USSR. The Russian text is a rhyme by L. Gavrilova, read as follows: Everyone speaks of him with contempt that he is the only one in the department with this problem. From his point of view, he is almost advanced. There is no need to marvel at this because he sees double in his eyes. The poster depicts a factory worker who does not do his job well due to alcohol addiction. Published by The Fighting Pencil Group in The Leningrad artist publishing house, №96 (212), circulation 10 000 copies, July 18, 1958. With original pencil marks in Russian. Paper, color lithography.
